JUPITER, Fla. – The 2nd Annual Jupiter Seafood Festival saw a crowd of 14,000 over the two day event and once again was blessed with sunny spring weather. “Thanks for a great time on Saturday. I drove two hours up from South Miami and well worth it. The food was awesome, the music was great, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Great staff!!! Definitely will do it again next year, said Miami resident Carmen Ortega.”

Patrons lined to the streets of Abacoa while strolling down Main Street and around the amphitheater. A wide selection of fresh seafood was offered from many local restaurants such as Food Shack, Frigates Bar & Grill, Sweets Raw Bar, Burger Bar, Costello’s and more! The kids enjoyed a variety of rides, games and nautical arts and crafts. The main stage was filled with live entertainment both days including national recording act “The Marshall Tucker Band” that was a big hit with the crowd. The entertainment lineup also included local reggae bands Moska Project & Roots Shakedown along with Bon Jovi and The Ultimate Journey Tribute Band. Brass Evolution got the crowd dancing on Sunday along with “The Sauce Boss” on Saturday who sang some blues and cooked up his famous seafood gumbo.
Event goers also shopped down vendor row with many different nautical-themed displays such as jewelry, art, clothing and more. “As first time vendors for this festival, we were very pleased to showcase our new Bruce’s Ghost Pepper Hot Sauce and other spicy products that go so well with seafood and more,” said Bruce and Stacey Ollis of Bruce’s Ghost Pepperz. “We were very impressed by how well it was organized and the staff was amazing—we’re already looking forward to next year’s three-day event.

JUPITER, Fla. – The Jupiter Seafood Festival presented by Grand Slam Events brought in a first year crowd of 12,000 over the two day event and was blessed with great spring weather. “I’ve been a fan of seafood festivals in South Florida for twenty plus years. I had a great time at your first seafood festival. The music, the venue and the people were great,” said South Florida resident Roger Ciesinski.

Patrons lined to the streets of Abacoa while strolling down Main Street and around the Amphitheatre. A wide selection of fresh seafood was offered from many different cultures such as Greek, Italian, French and Caribbean to name a few. The main stage was filled with bands both days and an entertainment lineup on Saturday that included Sweet Justice, The Long Run (Eagles Tribute Band) and the Landshark Band (Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band). Sunday didn’t disappoint either with the live sounds of Fresh Catch and The Dave Matthews Tribute Band. Event goers were also able to shop vendor row with many different nautical-themed displays such as jewelers, art, clothing and more. “I was very impressed by how well organized the event was and the staff was very friendly. For a first year event it was definitely more than I expected and we were very pleased,” said Joann Zimbalist, Charmed Vendor.

“It was great to see the community come out and enjoy this Nautical Extravaganza while supporting such a great organization, “Hopes, Dreams and Horses,” said Lainey Ruskay, Event Director. This is the first year of many more seafood festivals to come and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our community, sponsors, vendors, and staff that came together to make this first year event such a success.”

JUPITER, Fla. – The Jupiter Country Hoedown presented by Grand Slam Events brought in a first year crowd of 3,500 during the one day event that was blessed with picture perfect weather. “It was incredibly organized for a first year event,” said Jupiter resident Steve Rogers. “It was a perfect mix of people. This is exactly what Downtown Abacoa needs more of.”

Patrons took in a lineup of local country band favorites Burnt Biscuit, Tom Jackson, & The Amber Leigh Band while line dancing along side the Country World Dance Champions “The Chili Chicks.” Other Hoedown activities included a mechanical bull, kid’s activities’, local retail vendors and a Backyard BBQ Cook-Off that is sure to become a Northern Palm Beach County tradition. “The Jupiter Country Hoedown was a great event with fun for everyone,” said Chad Mathis, Smoke Damaged Head Cook. “The Smoke Damaged cooking team had a great time and we are looking forward to next year. However, we’ll have to cook a few extra cases of ribs, brisket and sides to keep up with the ravenous crowd.” Smoke Damaged took home the grand champion trophy with the most points in the BBQ chicken & ribs division combined. The cook-off was judged by WPTV Meteorologist Glenn Glazer, Executive Producer of “The Love Doctors” Dano, Town of Jupiter Councilman Todd Wodraska, First Sargent Rock Riviera and Major General Wayne Jackson.

“It was great to see the community come out and enjoy the Hoedown while supporting such a great organization”, “A Wounded Warrior’s Second Chance,” said Lainey Ruskay, Event Director of Grand Slam Events. “This is the first year of many more to come and we couldn’t have done it without the support of the community, sponsors, volunteers and vendors that came together to make this event such a success.”
